How would you arrange furniture in a rectangular living room with a sliding glass door on the llong side?

The entrance is the side opposite the slider on the left of the other longer wall. I hope this info helps you picture it because I can't find any similar pics online that deal with all the complications and my parents and I disagree on what's appropriate design. Over all the room is 20 ft 7 in by 15ft 5 in with the window 10 ft 2.5 in centered. Thanks for any ideas as a mediator between my parents and I.
