Orphan Killdeer Eggs?

I found a pair killdeer nest in a riding arena next to my house. I've been checking on the nest for 2-3 weeks and today I found one of the parents dead next to the nest and two of the eggs crushed. I haven't seen the other bird. The eggs are in a safe spot but the nest is destroyed. What should I do?
