I do not know what to do? Should I move on for my son sake?

You have no choice but to move on. All you can do is encourage a healthy relationship between father and son. You cannot make the father be the man that he should be. If he chooses to be an absentee dad, you should find good male role models for you son..a family member etc...obvioulsy someone you know and trust. I am a little confused by your question. You have to move on. You have to make a life for you and your son. If moving on to you means dating, that does not mean that your ex is out of the picture. If his father chooses not to bond with him , your son will be heartbroken at some point but he will survive it. Choose other male role models for him..and I don't mean boyfriends. Be careful with boyfriends...be choosey as to who gets to meet and know your son. Boyfriends come and go.
