I'm trying to remember the name of an audio book I had as kid.?

It was about an orphan girl in Venice, in the time of Vivaldi, who went to this music school and learned violin. There was also something about a Nightingale that was important. I had it back in the late 90s on CD. And I remember the whole story was accompanied by violin music in the background. If anyone knows the name of this book it would be much appreciated.
