Can I tape record a settlement conference at court?

It's a landlord/tenant dispute (in NJ), and the settlement conference is in a room off the courtroom. The "mediator" is actually the landlord's atty. I'd like to tape record the meeting so I can make sure what we agree to verbally ends up in the lease.
