How do I make my desktop icons say more words before being cut off?

I had Windows XP for the longest time. And I also had some game icons on the desktop. One of my favorite games is Dawn of War and it's expansions. On XP, the Icon said "Dawn of War - Winter Assault". But on Windows 7, it says "Dawn of War - ***...", and it's kinda making me mad. Is there a way to improve the amount of text can be displayed?
